    KITS FOR LUTHERAN SOCIAL SERVICES
Lutheran Social Services is a non-profit organization that works with all affiliations in a five county area. We have many programs working with individuals or families in crisis. Some of our programs include:
  • Hope Housing – works with homeless and clients with mental illness
  • Youth Programs – works with at-risk and homeless youth ages 16-21.
  • Energy Assistance –works with low income and no income families in Crow Wing County only.

We have found it is a great hardship for individuals in crisis to purchase items most us take for granted; cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, laundry supplies and kitchen items. Yet, it is an important need.

You can help by donating these items:

  • Care-Kits: Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, brush & comb, pads/tampons, bar soap, wash cloth, hand towel
  • Laundry Kits: Laundry basket, 1 gallon size laundry soap, bleach, spray & wash, dryer sheets, 1 roll of quarters
  • Cleaning Supplies: Bucket, sponge, toilet cleaner, all-purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, rags/dish cloth, toilet paper, paper towels, air-disinfectant spray, dish soap
  • Baby Kits (baby items only): lotion, wash, wipes, shampoo, wash cloths, q-tips, powder, bar soap, rash cream, new born blanket sleeper, new born disposable diapers
